The mission of the RA CPC educational platform is to foster behavioral change among officials through targeted awareness-raising and educational courses. Additionally, it aims to make corruption prevention and counteraction more accessible and comprehensible to the public.

The Commission's areas of activity

Declaration Analysis

The Commission oversees the declaration process, analyzes submitted declarations, and investigates violations of declaration requirements.

The Commission conducts integrity checks to prevent unethical individuals from entering the public sector and performs ongoing integrity checks of several categories of officials.

Corruption Risk Assessment

The Commission develops methodologies for assessing and managing corruption risks, conducts pilot assessments, and provides recommendations for effective corruption risk management.

Introduction of a Unified System of Rules of Conduct

The Commission establishes and enforces rules of conduct for public officials, ensuring consistency in interpreting and applying ethical principles and behavioral standards.

On June 9, 2017, the “Law on the Corruption Prevention Commission” was adopted, and on November 20, 2019, it entered into force, establishing the Corruption Prevention Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2019, the Corruption Prevention Commission, an institutional body endowed with corruption prevention functions, was formed. The Commission was legally vested with a wide range of powers to guarantee the integrity of public office holders, manage the declaration system, monitor compliance with the requirements for incompatibility, conflict of interest, other restrictions, and rules of conduct imposed on officials, exercise control over the financial activities of political parties, support the process of managing and assessing corruption risks, as well as the implementation of educational programs.

The Commission consists of five members: the Chairperson and four members. The positions of the members of the Commission are autonomous.
